Against sexual harassment at work

On 18. October 2021 Women’s Rights Center is launching a campaign against sexual harassment in the workplace or in employment.

Today, October 18, the Center for Women’s Rights launches an online campaign against sexual harassment at work or in employment, within the project “Empowering civil society organizations in the fight against discrimination and improving women’s labor rights.”

Women’s Rights Center is one of the partner organizations implementing the project “Strengthening Civil Society Organizations in the Fight against Discrimination and Improving Women’s Labor Rights”, which is carried out by the Kosovo Women’s Network. In addition to the Center for Women’s Rights, the project is IMPLEMENTED by the following organizations: GADC from Albania, Kvinna till Kvinna office from Serbia, Reactor from Macedonia and the Helsinki Committee of Citizens Banja Luka from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This online campaign aims to inform citizens about various forms of sexual harassment at work or employment, legal frameworks and examples of sexual harassment at work or employment derived from the research “Gender-Based Discrimination in Work and Employment” from 2019.

Sexual harassment is prohibited by law. In Montenegro, the labor law prohibits sexual harassment in the workplace and in connection with work.

This online campaign will be launched at the same time in 5 (five) other countries in the Western Balkans: Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia and will run from 18. to 30. October 2021.
