Women’s Rights Center’s psychologist Ana Jaredić gave an interview for the web portal Analitika on the subject of group violence against homosexuals. Commenting upon the attack on executive director of NGO “LGBT Forum Progress” Stevan Milivojević, she said that in Montenegrin society “which has a high level of tolerance for violence and at the same time huge resistance towards difference, minorities who “violate” gender norms are perceived by young men as suitable means to show masculinity, prove their heterosexuality and gain support of the public”.
