Women’s Activist Hub – Empowering Young Women’s Civic Activism

With this project, the “Women's Rights Center” aims to provide young women with space to acquire and share knowledge in the field of women's political, economic, social and cultural rights, to establish cooperation and solidarity in the field of women's activism and the arts, as well as their direct participation in creation and realization of activist content through a series of activities that include theoretical and creative workshops.

 The project envisages the realization of a “Small School of Breaking Patriarchy ” – which includes the organization of training on the political, economic and cultural rights of women, the history of the women's movement in Montenegro and the problem of gender based violence against women;  drumming workshop “Beat of  the Protest” which concept includes preparation of the musical program for the purpose of  marking the International Women’s Day in Montenegro and the “Short Course of Cutting of Patriarchy” which includes training in the area of design and feminist activism.

The project is implemented with the support of the Fund for Active Citizenship, through the program “For a stronger voice of civil society organizations” and with the financial support of the US Embassy in Podgorica.
