On the occasion of 8th March, International women’s day, Women’s Rights Center in cooperation with NGO Anima – Center for women and peace education organized a second Women’s March in Montenegro under the slogan “Bread and Peace and Roses”.

The March gathered more than 100 people who walked from the Independence square to the bridge “Blažo Jovanović”, after which they joined the protest of mothers who were striking in front of the Montenegrin parliament due to the reduction of compensations. The March was supported by many NGOs, representatives of Ombudsman office and certain MPs.
