Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between the Capital City and Women’s Rights Center
ON MAY 16 2022, A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION WAS SIGNED BETWEEN THE CAPITAL CITY AND WOMEN’S RIGHTS CENTER IN PROVIDING SOCIAL HOUSING FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
For ten years, Women’s Rights Center has been providing specialized services for women and children who have suffered domestic violence, which include free legal aid, legal representation, psychological support and confidential person services. Thanks to the cooperation with the Capital, another extremely important service is offered, which has proven to be a great need of our users: a safe roof over their heads when they decide to leave a violent relationship.
The Secretariat for Social Welfare of the Capital provided a housing unit for temporary accommodation and care for victims of domestic violence. This service will be implemented in cooperation with WRC, respecting the advice of experts and protecting data on victims of violence.
