Criminal justice response to violence against women and family violence in Montenegro 2019-2022

Women’s Rights Center Report on the application of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence in the field of criminal-legal protection against violence against women and domestic violence.

The report was prepared within the framework of the regional project “Institutionalization of quality services of rehabilitation and integration for victims of violence” implemented in the period 2019-2022 by the Autonomous Women’s Center, Women’s Rights Center, Foundation United Women (FUW); National Network against Violence against Women, Skoplje, National Network against Violence against Women (NNVW); Albanian Women’s Empowerment Network (AWEN), Tirana; Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC), Tirana; Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN), Pristina. The project in Montenegro is implemented by the Women’s Rights Center. The research was carried out with the financial support of the Austrian Development Agency.
